HUNDREDS of visitors enjoyed meeting crew members, browsing stalls and being shown around the boathouse during Llandudno Lifeboat Day.
Attendees, on Sunday, August 20, also met members of the Llandudno Coastguard Team and were treated to a fabulous display by the lifeboats during the afternoon.
The day acted as an opportunity to celebrate 42 years of loyal service by Davey Roberts who was crewing aboard the William F Yates all weather lifeboat for the last time.
Captain Marcus Elliott, Lifeboat Operations Manager, said: "As well as applauding Davey’s outstanding service, we were also delighted to welcome Llandudno Town Mayor councillor Greg Robbins and Miss Alice 2023 who came to begin the day’s proceedings.

"I have many people to thank for their generous support including our Pirate friends from Conwy, the unforgettable Mermaids and of course DJ Ian Turner for acting as compere.
"Finally, I must sincerely thank all of our crew and volunteers who put so much effort into making Lifeboat Day such a remarkable success and raising over £3,000 for our continuing work of saving lives at sea."
Visitors on the day also learnt about the 'Float to Live campaign'.
