Two North Wales restaurants have been nominated for an honour at the upcoming British Restaurant Awards (BRA).
Sosban and The Old Butcher’s in Menai Bridge and Palé Hall in Bala have both been nominated in the Best Restaurant in Wales category in the upcoming BRA.
The North Wales restaurants have been shortlisted along with eight other contenders from across Wales.
Palé Hall has a 5/5 rating (from 599 reviews) on Tripadvisor and has been described by visitors as "perfection", exceeding expectations and one visitor even said "5 stars not enough".
Michelin-star restaurant Sosban and The Old Butcher’s also has a 5/5 rating (from 364 reviews) on Tripadvisor and has been described by visitors as "a triumph", "best restaurant in the UK" and "a taste experience".
While other visitors have described the experience at the Menai Bridge restaurant as "worth a travel from Norway to Wales" and "The Heston Blumenthal of Angelsey".
The 5th annual BRA's will be held on Tuesday, September 5 and recognises and celebrates "the exceptional talent, innovation, and artistry that define the restaurant industry in the United Kingdom".
