WORK on the Rhos-on-Sea promenade has entered the final stages, with surfacing and new pedestrian crossings to be installed.
Contractors poured the final coloured slab along the promenade last week, which now runs all the way from Combermere Gardens to Porth Eirias.
Health markers have been installed, extending the health route which starts at the pier and now runs to the 1700m finish line near Combermere Gardens.
Sun loungers opened for public use a few weeks ago.
The next stages of the work will see the final surface being laid along the active travel route, the road and the parking areas.
New pedestrian crossing points and traffic calming will be installed overnight on Cayley Promenade.
