A PROMENADE has re-opened following an 'incident' in Penmaenmawr.
Earlier this morning, police asked people to avoid the beach and promenade in Penmaenmawr.
North Wales Police took to Facebook at about 7.20am on August 9 to say: "Officers are currently dealing with an incident on the beach. Please avoid the area so that officers can carry out their work.
"There is no risk to any member of the public."

Traffic Wales North & Mid tweeted just after 8am: "Warning #A55 eastbound J15A Penmaenmawr.
"Access to the beach has temporarily been closed. Further updates to follow."
Police have since posted, just after 11am: "Promenade now reopend.
"Thank you for your assistance and patience."
