A YOUTH club based at a community centre in Llandudno has closed indefinitely following “recent serious incidents”.
Ty Hapus Community Resource Centre and Foodbank, based on Ffordd Penrhyn, confirmed the decision in a statement on its Facebook page on Thursday (July 20).
North Wales Police confirmed it is investigating two reports of assault in the area last month.
Ty Hapus said: “Due to recent serious incidents, the youth club will be closed until further notice.
“Please keep checking for updated information.”

A North Wales Police spokesperson added: “We are currently investigating two reports of assault that occurred on June 26 at around 7.25pm in the area of Ty Hapus, Llandudno.
“Our enquiries into these incidents are ongoing.
“Due to ongoing concerns regarding antisocial behaviour in the area, a dedicated PC and PCSO will conduct patrols to tackle any incidents of antisocial behaviour, and to speak with residents regarding any issues they may have.
“We would encourage residents to report any concerns concerning anti-social behaviour to us via our website or by calling 101.”
