A GUEST house in Llandudno has had an electric vehicle charging point installed at its premises.
Rosaire Guest House, on St Seiriol's Road, has had a 7kW set up which supports Open Charge Point Protocol full charging.
Joanne Beckett, owner of the guest house, said the idea to have the charger installed came after struggling to find one in Llandudno for her sister to use when she visited.

She hopes it will show to people that “it’s not just the few elite large-chain hotels that can offer holidaymakers this service”.
“There are very few chargers in Llandudno,” Joanne said.
“And because we have our off-road car parking, we decided to take the plunge and get connected. It’s very user-friendly and we hope it will benefit lots of people.
“We wanted to install the charger because my sister visited us one time and we struggled to find a charger for her, so I thought we would get one installed and be ahead of the competition.
“Going forward, electric cars are supposed to be the future, and this one is so user-friendly.
“The range will depend on the car, not the unit.”
According to the website “Zap-Map”, other electric vehicle charging points in Llandudno can be found at St George’s Hotel, Imperial Hotel, Maes Dolau Caravan Park, Breast Test Llandudno, Penderyn Distillery, and Gwesty Links Hotel.
