A FAMILY-RUN butchers shop in Rhos-on-Sea opened its doors for the first time yesterday (July 4), in a “dream” move for the owners.
Lee and Hannah Coates opened Coates Butchery at 14 Everard Road, 12 years after Lee first started in the industry (and in the exact same premises).
The business opening sees Lee him achieve a dream he has had since being a Saturday boy at 16.

He will run it with his partner Hannah, with the pair hoping to pass it onto his daughter in the future.
Lee said the shop will be offering “traditional style butchery with a modern twist”.
In a post on social media, the couple said: “We’re officially open - it’s been great to finally welcome you through the doors.
“If you’re passing Rhos-on-Sea pop in and see us, we’re here till 5pm.”
