THE 'dream team' are back for this year's pantomime at Venue Cymru which is set to take audiences on a swashbuckling adventure.
Venue Cymru and Imagine Theatre will be putting on the festive treat this Christmas. With fun and frolics and plenty of slosh, the show can only be the one and only, Peter Pan.
Panto favourite John Evans will be returning to the stage as Smee.
James Lusted (Starkey) and Jason Marc Williams (Captain Hook) and also returning as well as television and musical theatre star Carley Stenson will star as Tinker Bell.
Carley is best known for playing Steph Cunningham in the Channel 4 series Hollyoaks.
She was nominated for Best Actress and Best Comedy Actress at the NTAs and British Soap Awards.
Her recent credits include Fantine in Les Miserables in the West End and Georgia Hendricks in Curtains (West End and UK tour).
Carley said: "I am thrilled to be back at Venue Cymru, it is such a cracking venue and place to be.
"I have such fond memories and all my family and friends can’t wait to come and watch Peter Pan there.
"I am too excited to be playing Tinker Bell, especially in my first panto as a mum.
"Hopefully making all the children and families laugh and sing along will be even more special for me."
Evans will mark his fourth decade performing in pantomime. This is his 12th performance at Venue Cymru.
It will also be Williams's fourth year at Llandudno. Williams will also be directing the show.
Lusted, regularly seen on Songs of Praise for the BBC and on Heno for S4C, said: "It’s so good to be back at Venue Cymru this Christmas. I love the audience here in Llandudno, to hear the laughter and everyone of all ages joining in and enjoying themselves is really special.
"Peter Pan is a wonderful fairytale packed with fun and adventure. I can’t wait…. ooh arrr me hearties!"
A Venue Cymru Spokesperson said: “Last year’s panto was one of our most memorable to date, and so we’re excited to recreate the magic under Jason’s fabulous direction once again.
"Llandudno Panto’s are never the same without the panto legend John Evans who we refer to as our very own. John, with Jason and James have built an infectious on stage rapport over the past few years, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of this.
