RESIDENTS, businesses and communities throughout Aberconwy are to benefit from the £18.6 million development of an active travel route between Conwy and Betws-y-Coed.

The investment has been secured from the UK Government’s Levelling Up Fund.

On June 30, Aberconwy MP Robin Millar is hosting a public drop-in to mark the launch of the UK Government Levelling Up Fund work between Conwy and Betws-y-Coed.

The drop-in will take place at Y Clwb Pendraw'r Llan, Glan Conwy, LL28 5SP between 12.30pm and 2.30pm on June 30.

The event will provide an opportunity to discuss informally overall project funding, process and schematics with Mr Millar and representatives from Conwy County Borough Council.

Mr Millar is keen to share the opportunities that this project will deliver for residents and businesses.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

“I share these priorities. This Levelling Up funding shows that your voice is being heard in the UK Government.

“The development of this route will make a positive impact on Aberconwy, so I'm committed to seeing the projects in the scheme delivered as soon as possible.

“I hope that as many residents as possible will join us on June 30 to learn more about the opportunities that this investment will bring.”
