THE new mayor of Llandudno is councillor Greg J T Robbins.
Cllr Robbins was sworn in last month. A ceremony was held at the Assembly Room at Llandudno Town Hall.
Members of the town council were able to attend in person or remotely online via Zoom.
Debbie Robbins was also installed as mayoress.
A spokesperson for Llandudno Town Council said: "The ceremony was also livestreamed to enable friends and family of the mayor to witness the inauguration.
"Cllr Robbins paid tribute to the outgoing mayor, Cllr Carol Marubbi, and thanked her for all her hard work on behalf of the council during her mayoral year.
"The retiring mayor, cllr Marubbi, offered the new mayor her support and wished him a successful and happy year in office."
The spokesperson added: "[Cllr Robbins] is mindful that post lockdown there seems to be less tolerance shown to other and wishes to foster a culture of people helping each other and being more compassionate within our community."
Cllr Robbins is married to Debbie and has two adult daughters - Kira and Holly. He also has two grandchildren, Elysia and Jack.
He has worked as a contracts manager for a construction company and has been involved in the industry since starting work on the Conwy Tunnel in 1987 for Tarmac Construction.
Cllr Robbins has been a member of Llandudno Town Council since 2008, 15 years ago. He has been the chairman of the Planning and Transportation Committee for a number of years and is an active member of various other committees and sub-committees including Town Twinning, Community Services and Finance and General Purposes.
He also represents the town council on the Great Orme Management Advisory Group and has represented the council on the Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Light Tram Society and Llandudno Museum amongst many others. He was a founder member of the Llandudno Coastal Forum and has been its vice-chair since its inception.
He has also been a county councillor and held the Environment, Roads, and Facilities portfolio on the Executive of Conwy County Borough Council from June 2019 until May 2022.

In addition, he is the Treasurer of the Llandudno and District Darts League, a Governor at Ysgol Gogarth and is currently in his second period as Chair of Governors at Ysgol Morfa Rhianedd.
He is also a past chairman of the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza.
