A CHARITY shop has re-opened its doors after undergoing a make-over.

St David's Hospice re-opened the shop in Conwy following a two-week refurbishment project.

The re-vamped store now boasts updated flooring, paintwork, signage, and a stock display redesign offering customers more room to enjoy their visit.

Carol Morley, head of retail for St David’s Hospice, said: “The Conwy team are so excited to be able to show off our refurbished shop. The shop was beginning to look a little tired and in need of some TLC so we are delighted with how it looks.

"It is lovely to see the reaction on the faces of our customers – they have all been very complimentary of our new look."

In 2022, it cost about £6million to keep St David’s Hospice running.

The Conwy shop alone, over the past 12 months, brought in around £70k for the North Wales charity.

Ms Morley added: “Conwy is a very busy shop, welcoming locals and visitors throughout the year. We hope that the refurbishment will attract new customers to support our charity.

"We have a great range of items for everyone, and we appreciate the support from all our customers who support us by using our shops, re use centre and ebay store.”

St David’s Conwy charity shop is situated on High Street in the town centre.

Donations can be dropped off at the shop during opening times or at St David’s Hospice Donation Centre on the Quinton Hazel Enterprise Parc in Mochdre.
