A FAMILY-of-four found themselves in danger of being cut off by the tide at West Shore.
This happened on Saturday, May 13.
Llandudno RNLI lifeboat Dr Barbara Saunderson, who were already out on the water after launching to an incident involving an inflatable kayak, were urgently tasked.
A spokesperson for RNLI Llandudno Lifeboat said: "Our inshore lifeboat Dr Barbara Saunderson launched shortly after 3pm to deal with two separate incidents around the Great Orme and West Shore.
"Concerns were reported by a member of the public for the safety of the occupants of an inflatable kayak seen off the Great Orme. The lifeboat with a crew of three were soon on task to investigate. Whilst conducting their checks they were urgently diverted to an incident on the West Shore.
"Reports from the National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) were being shared concerning a family of four who were at serious risk of being stranded on the sand banks by the rapid incoming tide.

"The lifeboat made its way to the location to assist Llandudno Coastguard in ensuring the casualties were able to safely negotiate their return to the beach side."
The lifeboat made its way back around the Orme to make sure there was "no kayak in jeopardy".
They were then stood down by HM Coastguard.
