A FREE family event will be held tomorrow (May 13) along Colwyn Bay’s promenade from 10am until 5pm.

“Prom Xtra” has plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained, including a funfair, stalls, and lots more entertainment along the beach.

For youngsters, there will be the chance to play bubble football, as well as try out space hoppers, kids’ quads and cricket.

The “Wheelie Play Bus”, a converted double-decker bus which provides a safe, fun soft play area for children aged three to eight, will also be at Prom Xtra.

There will also be a range of artistic activities suitable for all ages, including a new sandcastle competition.

Prom Xtra will feature a variety of stalls dotted across the site, with a wide variety from tasty treats to gorgeous gifts and more.

There will be plenty of choice for people to shop and to enjoy lunch or a snack from the food stalls.

People can also take a break and relax in deckchairs in front of the main stage on the promenade, while watching many of the live musical performances throughout the day.

This year, there is also a second stage on the pier where you can sit back and enjoy an ice cream and watch more from the performers, while you can get your picture taken at a “360 photobooth”.
