LLANDUDNO Albion FC ended things on a high with a 3-2 win on the weekend, in the club’s last ever game.
In February, the Ardal Leagues North West (Welsh third tier) club announced it would fold at the end of the season after failing to reach a ground share agreement as part of FAW licence regulations.
Saturday’s game away at Wrexham’s Brickfield Rangers was the club’s last, and they went out in style with a thrilling victory to send the travelling fans home happy.
Goals from Adam Hold, Joel Lloyd and Calum Jones secured a fitting farewell for the club, who finished the season in 11th place, outside of the relegation zone.

After the game, a club spokesperson said: “You couldn’t wish for a better game to finish on, it had everything.
“An amazing free kick, a captain’s goal and a late winner from one of the most unsung heroes of our club.
“That win guarantees we don’t finish bottom which was always the goal.”
