RESIDENTS across Conwy county are preparing to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III next month.
At the time of writing, Llandudno Town Council had received 18 applications for street parties.
Bay of Colwyn Town Council had received 11 applications for Coronation events and Conwy Town Council, eight applications for grants for both community events and environmental days.
King's Coronation itinerary - what is happening
The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6. The service will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
On Sunday, May 7, a special Coronation Concert will be staged at Windsor Castle.
The Coronation Big Lunch, at which neighbours and communities are invited to share food and fun together across the country, will also take place on Sunday, May 7.

On Monday, May 8, 'The Big Help Out' will take place. This is being organised by The Together Coalition and partners such as The Scouts, the Royal Voluntary Service and faith groups from across the UK.
The Big Help Out will aim to highlight the positive impact volunteering has on communities.
