AN ABBA tribute night in Llandudno was held last weekend in aid of numerous charities.
“S.O.S.”, an act paying homage to the Swedish four-piece, performed at the town’s Trinity Community Centre, on Trinity Avenue, on Saturday, April 15.
Tickets event was organised by Cllr Carol Marubbi, the mayor of Llandudno.

Proceeds from the event went to charities including the Llandudno Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) crew, and the Llandudno Elderly People’s Welfare Society.
The event also featured a cash-only bar and a raffle, with a variety of great prizes donated by business owners in Llandudno.

Cllr Marubbi said: “A huge thanks to Hannah and Fran (from S.O.S.); it was a fantastic night for everyone. Children loved the Mamma Mia experience.
“We had eight fellow mayors who came and supported this fun evening. I want to thank everyone who helped me so much.
“A huge thank-you to all the business who generously donated, and to family and friends for your donations.
“We raised hundreds of pounds for the wonderful services my (nominated) charities (provide); I am truly honoured by your generosity.”
