A FAST food chain based in North Wales is to open another new site this summer.
Hungry Cow, which opened its first restaurant in Holywell in February 2022, will soon be setting up at the old takeaway site of Virgilio’s.
The chain, known for its huge burgers, wings and loaded fries, opened its second restaurant in Mold early this year.
It also has two express kitchens; one in Llandudno, which opened last month; and one in Prestatyn.

Hungry Cow said: “We are super excited to be opening another location this summer 2023!
“We have taken on the former Virgilio’s takeaway site, and renovations are well on their way to transform it to a Hungry Cow bar and restaurant.
“We will be operating dine in, takeaway and delivery.
“We will be serving a range of cocktails, draught lager, Welsh craft ales, and a selection of spirits and ciders.”
Christy Goode, from Flint, set up Hungry Cow in 2021 after first renting pub kitchens at the George and Dragon in Flint and the Cross Foxes in Prestatyn, before opening his own restaurant in Holywell.
