A MAN allegedly punched his dog in the head on Llanddulas Beach yesterday (April 9).
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) said it is aware of the incident and is investigating it.
It is believed that the incident happened at roughly 1.30pm, and followed a period of repeated swearing from the man towards his dog.

The man is also reported to have acted aggressively to other passers-by after being rebuked by them for hitting his dog.
A spokesperson for the RSPCA said: "We are aware of this and are looking into it.
“We urge anyone who has first-hand information to call us on 0300 1234 999 or the police on 101."
The incident will also be reported to North Wales Police, it is believed.
