Thousands raised for Ukraine at cultural event at Conwy church
Previously, five such events have been organised across Denbighshire and Conwy; the latest, held at St Mary’s Church, Conwy on March 4, raised a total of £4,008.25.
Money raised has been used to help fund the purchases of items such as medical supplies, a night vision device to assist in clearing Ukrainian territories of mines, and a car for a combat zone.
This follows Russia’s invasion of the country, which began on February 24, 2022.
Those interested in attending the cultural event can purchase tickets from the following places:
- St Paul’s Church, Rhiw Road.
- Daisy Chain Florists, High Street, Conwy.
- Café Haven, Madoc Street, Llandudno.
- Penmaenmawr Museum.
