A VOLUNTEER with Llandudno’s Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) crew has put his artisan baking skills to good use by creating two eye-catching Easter eggs to raise funds for charities.
Benjamin Lee, who opened his own artisan bakery in Craig-y-Don 12 months ago, made the eggs to raise money for Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospice and the Llandudno RNLI team.
A volunteer sea-going crew member, Ben, with the assistance of fellow crew member Laura, displayed the eggs shortly before launching for an exercise aboard the inshore lifeboat, Dr Barbara Saunderson, on Monday evening (April 3).

He said: “I am delighted to be able to raise funds at Easter for two charities that are very close to my heart.
“Raffle tickets are on sale at my shop in Craig-y-Don, and the draw will take place on Saturday (April 8).
“The two lucky winners will win one of the giant hand-crafted eggs.
“It has been great to combine two of the passions in my life to help other people in need.”
