NEW pictures have shown what a gym, water-sports centre and wellbeing café could look like in Pensarn.
The site will be based along the waterfront, and will be operated by Pilgrim Fitness.
Saer Architects have gained planning consent to allow Pilgrim Fitness to relocate to the new site.
This will allow the business to expand into an activity centre which will include water sports equipment rental to the public.
The new building also includes a gym, wellbeing café, reception and water-sport training room, with an upper-level terrace allowing views out across the beach to the sea and beyond.

Designed to be lightweight, the building will have a minimal impact on the current site.
At a meeting at Bodlondeb last month, Conwy County Borough Council’s planning committee granted Pilgrim Fitness owner, Louis Jones, permission to relocate his business from Pensarn Industrial Estate.
The tarmac site is currently heavily overgrown with brambles and weeds.
