A COUPLE who purchased a hotel in Llandudno last year are bringing back the Land Trains.
David Banks and his wife Claire moved into the town in June 2022 after snapping up the Promenâd B&B.
Two services will operate: Around the Great Orme and from West Shore to the Pier and back.
David said: "My wife Claire and I moved to the town in June last year when we purchased the Promenad B&B on Mostyn Crescent. We’d been coming to Llandudno for many enjoyable years as visitors and wanted a change of lifestyle.
"As a family we enjoyed riding the trains and wanted to bring them back for all to enjoy."
The Promenâd, on Mostyn Crescent, was previously owned by Iain and Martine Sands. The couple sold the accommodation in order to relocate closer to their family.
David and Claire are from the Cheshire area.
When they realised the Promenâd was up for sale, they made a life changing decision to quit their 9-5 jobs and move to Llandudno with their three children and two dogs.
