It was transported to Sheffield for the city's Christmas market, before returning to Italy, where it was made, in early January, for routine maintenance.
The £1million custom-made structure, initially opened in August 2021.
Llandudno Pier owner Adam Williams commissioned Italian manufacturer Lamborghini to design the wheel, which comprises 18 gondolas carrying six people each.
The wheel is often illuminated at light, and has, in the past, created special displays, such as a gesture of support to Ukraine after Russia's invasion of the country, or to Queen Elizabeth II following her death.
Dogs are also permitted to enjoy the ride.
Paul Williams, general manager at Llandudno Pier since last June, said: "It’s great to have the wheel back. It’s probably one of the main focal points in Llandudno now.
"Everyone looks forward to it coming back; we had a lot of interest and enquiries in January and February about when it was coming back, which was great to see.
"Dogs are allowed on, as well - we do get a lot of people asking, strange as it sounds! From little ones to big Alsatians, they all go on there!
"I've been on it a couple of times, and my little three-year-old loves going on it – we do thorough checks on it every day, so it’s as safe as anything."
Open until roughly 10pm in the evening, with each ride lasting roughly five minutes (three to four revolutions), the Ferris wheel costs £4 per person to enjoy.
Cash and card payments both acceptable, and no booking in advance is required.
