A LLANDUDNO bar and cafe that closed on New Year’s Eve has been put up for auction by a property developer.
Fountains Bar and Café, on Upper Mostyn Street, shut after hosting a New Year’s party on December 31.
The popular bar had its alcohol licence ‘surrendered’, with the sudden closure marked by a repossession notice posted on the front door and sheeting placed across the windows.
The building is on a lease for 2,000 years from December 1907, with a guide price between £200,000 and £250,000.

"Grade II listed building being sold by auction with All Wales Auction. In need of renovation. Viewings are available by appointment only and will be accompanied."
The building will be sold at online auction with All Wales Auction, which will take place on Thursday, 4 May.
