EMERGENCY services were called out to accidental flat fires in both Rhyl and Colwyn Bay yesterday afternoon (March 13).
The first was on Abergele Road, Colwyn Bay, which North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to at 4.05pm.
A service spokesperson said that this was “thought to be electrical, involving an extension cable”.

The second was on Princes Street, Rhyl, which was reported to the fire service shortly before 7.50pm.
A service spokesperson said that the fire was out upon their arrival at the property, adding: “items had been left on the hob top”.
