A HOTEL in Betws-y-Coed is to open its new restaurant next weekend.
The Gwydyr Hotel, on Holyhead Road, says it has been nine months in the making, and was created by Oldham-based restaurant design company, Dawnvale.
It will welcome customers from the weekend beginning March 17.
A statement from the hotel read: “We are very pleased to announce our new restaurant at The Gwydyr Hotel.
“For the last nine months, we have been planning our exciting restaurant, and it finally started to come to life in January and February by an amazing team at Dawnvale.
“The restaurant will open from next weekend.
“We look forward to welcoming you all to Gwydyr Restaurant soon.”
In 2020, the 20-bedroom hotel was sold for its guide price of £895,000.
It has modern-styled breakfast and dining rooms, a TV and sports lounge, two separate owners’ apartments and parking for hotel guests.
The hotel has been privately owned since the 1970s and was operated by its previous owners for six years.
