A DRAG queen who hails from Colwyn Bay is preparing to take on the Bolero dance made famous by Olympic ice skating legends turned judges – Torvill and Dean.
The Vivienne and dance partner Colin Grafton have skated through to the final of the contest.
Tweeting her joy at performing such a dance ahead of the show on Sunday, the former Rydal Penrhos pupil said: “And the work starts on the famous Bolero! Having a two-hour session with @torvillanddean [Jayne and Chris] was the stuff of dreams. An experience money can’t buy and I didn’t stop smiling all the way through.”
During the semi-final, the entertainer, who rose to fame on BBC Three’s RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, fell during her solo skate.
Despite the tumble, she returned to the ice with partner Colin to perform an emotional skate to Over The Rainbow by Eva Cassidy.

The couple scored 39.5 out of 40 with Ashley Banjo scoring the pair 9.5.
After falling face first on the ice, The Vivienne told co-hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: “My knees are hurting a little bit. We are dancing on ice, these things happen.”
The Vivienne will join fellow contestants Joey Essex and Nile Wilson in the Dancing on Ice final.
The Vivienne’s real name is James Williams. James recently shared his amazing weight loss.
Before coming on the show, the 30-year-old revealed his mum was “petrified” about him doing the show and and his husband [David Paul Ludford] was “nervous.”
He added: “He said ‘please don’t break anything!’ One of my friends Jennifer Ellison did it and I keep seeing that video of her kicking herself. I can’t even touch my toes so there is no risk of me kicking myself in the head. Jennifer said we can go skating together.
“Everyone’s really excited. I’ve got a lot of support from my husband.”
The Vivienne also revealed she was “in it to win it”.
“I enter everything to try and win. I think when people say they didn’t do it to win, they’re the people who didn’t win.
