A RESTAURANT in Llanrwst has won a prestigious accolade at the first Nation’s Curry Awards.
Ty Asha Balti House, on Denbigh Street in the centre of Llanrwst, was named the Indian Restaurant of the Year for Wales, one of only two winners in North Wales.
Caernarfon’s Curry Scene won the award for Curry Restaurant of the Year for Wales, while a third Welsh winner was in Barry.
Ty Asha Balti House is a Bangladeshi restaurant which serves a variety of food from across the Indian sub-continent, and enjoys a stellar reputation in Conwy.
This award is the latest to be won by Ty Asha, which has already been awarded Welsh Curry House of the Year 2014, Best Curry Chef in North Wales 2014, Spice Times Regional Best Restaurant Wales 2010.

It was previously shortlisted for the Best in Wales 2013 at the British Curry Awards.
The restaurant has a TripAdvisor rating of 4.5 based on 788 reviews.
