SNOOKER star Shaun Murphy was left “fuming” after a seagull swooped in to steal his Terry’s Chocolate Orange at his hotel in Llandudno.
World number 11 Murphy, a former World Champion, is currently in Llandudno competing at the Welsh Open, which is being held in North Wales for the first time.
But with his Last-32 clash with Scot Anthony McGill looming, the star faced a different kind of opponent – an opportunistic seagull.
Murphy had left out his Terry’s Chocolate Orange on the window ledge when he left his room, to let it chill before he could “have a few slices with a coffee in bed”.

When he returned, the treat was gone, with one culprit to blame.
In a social media post, the player said: “So when I left my hotel room earlier this evening I placed, VERY CAREFULLY a Terrys Chocolate Orange on the window ledge outside to chill so I could.
“Not there now is it. Fuming. Seagulls.”
He will be hoping for better fortune in his next match, as he bids to win his second Welsh Open title at Venue Cymru.
