A MAN has received a conditional discharge after admitting to drug-driving and possession of cannabis in Llandudno Junction.
Anthony Hunt, 37, of Rudston Avenue, Manchester, was accused of the following on August 28, 2022:
- Carrying a large bag of cannabis.
- Driving an Audi A3 vehicle with an excessive proportion of Benzoylecgonine (BZE, a cocaine breakdown product) in his bloodstream.
He gave an indicated plea of guilty to the former, and a guilty plea to the latter, at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on January 30.
Hunt was handed a conditional discharge of 18 months, and was disqualified from driving for the same period of time.
The court ordered him to pay a £26 surcharge by November 16, 2024.
