A POPULAR bar in Llandudno has closed its doors for the final time, having not reopened since hosting a big New Year’s Eve party.
Fountains Bar & Café, on Upper Mostyn Street, has shut after its alcohol licence was ‘surrendered’, with a repossession notice posted on the front door.
Furniture and sound and lighting equipment has been seen being removed from Fountains, while the signage outside has been also been removed.

Sheeting now covers the windows, while a repossession notice has been posted by estate agents Solomon Taylor and Shaw LLP on behalf of the landlord, Norwis Investments Limited.
The notice reads: “Take notice that the landlord has today re-entered the premises being 114 Upper Mostyn Street and 1, 2 and 3 Llewelyn Avenue Llandudno following the disclaimer of all interests, in the premises under the Lease on 23rd December 2022.
"As a consequence, the lease has determined, and the premises have been secured. And take notice that no-one can lawfully enter the premises unless they have been given authorisation by the landlord."
