St David’s said on January 20: “(An) off-market sale was completed this week. Congratulations to the new owners of the business, Parisellas.”
Tu Hwnt i'r Bont, which means “beyond the bridge”, was built in 1480 as a residential dwelling before being used as the town courthouse.
It has been a tearoom for more than 60 years, after previously being acquired by the National Trust.
The building is situated on the left bank of the River Conwy across Pont Fawr (“Big Bridge”).
A National Trust spokesperson said: “Tu Hwnt i’r Bont has been under the care of National Trust Cymru since 1945, and continues to be in our care for ever, for everyone.
“The current operator has decided not to continue and therefore has sold the lease on.
“It has been a successful business for many years, and we wish the new lease holders every success.”
