A MAN from Colwyn Bay was ordered to pay compensation after admitting to causing criminal damage to property in Abergele.
Darren Teesdale, 36, of Ffordd Bugail, Old Colwyn, was accused of damaging the Perspex on the interior of a police vehicle on Water Street on December 21, 2022.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on January 16.
Teesdale was ordered to pay £784 in compensation, and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This totalled £869, to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was made for deductions from his benefits.
