A MAN is to pay hundreds of pounds after strangling a woman at a hotel in Llandudno.
James Harvey, 80, of Maes Y Dderwen, Wrexham, was accused of intentionally strangling Pamela Harvey at the Imperial Hotel, Vaughan Street on September 24, 2022.
He gave an indicated plea of guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on January 11.
Harvey was ordered to pay a fine of £276, compensation of £50, costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and a victim surcharge of £110.
This totalled £521, to be paid in full by February 9.
