THE owners of a crystal gift shop in Llandudno have opened their second store in the town.
The Crystal Hut, which is owned by partners Kris Meredith and Paul Hales (and pet Westie Burt), have opened a shop at 9 Clonmel Street in the town centre.
Already operating a store on Llandudno Pier, the owners said this will “be going nowhere” in a post on social media.
The business sells an array of crystal-related products, from necklaces, to kits, to a Pick & Mix and salt lamps, as well as incense and ornaments for the home.
The store opening proved popular, with customers enjoying free chocolates and prosecco, as well as free psychic readings from famed radio and TV psychic Sarah May.
Joint-owner Kris told the Pioneer: “It feels absolutely amazing to have our doors open on Clonmel Street, it’s been a journey to get here but Llandudno town is ready for a new crystal store.
“We have our original store on Llandudno pier, and will still continue to trade there too.
“The Crystal Hut is not just a store it’s a destination for people to explore, experience and love the power of crystals!

“We have a gorgeous crystal wishing well where people can immerse themselves in the energy of crystals plus we are known for our crystal pick and mix and make your own necklace.
“We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful new store.”
The store opening was also attended by Aberconwy MS Janet Finch-Saunders, who commended the duo on their expansion.
“I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Crystal Hut last weekend,” said Mrs Finch-Saunders.
“A massive thank you to Kris, Paul and Burt for their very warm welcome, and for all their hard work in making the business succeed.
“They have created a wonderful shopping environment thanks to beautiful stock and the pleasing use of colour.
“I came away as a very happy customer, and even received a psychic reading for my troubles!
“I hope that as many people in the community as possible come along to support this fantastic local enterprise.”
