AN ITALIAN restaurant has reopened at the former Valentino’s site in Llandudno, after the popular restaurant closed earlier this year.
Valentino Ristorante & Pizzeria, on Gloddaeth Street, closed in October after 30 years of trading, with owner Antonio Manfredino wanting to spend more time with his family.
Now, the Venezia family have taken the site over, and have renamed the reopened restaurant Da Venezia.
Da Venezia is run by Sibilla and Michele Venezia, who have more than two decades of restaurant experience, and ran a successful eatery in Craig-y-Don until leaving three years ago.

A spokesperson for the family said: “After years of successful trading in Craig-y-Don, the Venezia family are back with their new Italian restaurant.
"This family venture is on Gloddaeth Street in Llandudno, formerly Valentino's, thanks to Antonio Manfredino, the previous owner of the restaurant.
“He has given them the opportunity to continue to offer high quality Italian food at the new business business now called Da Venezia.
"Sibilla and Michele Venezia have 25 years’ experience in traditional Italian hospitality.
“They bring a touch of modern creativity to their menu.”
