A SUNDAY school put on a nativity play with a difference.
The short play entitled: The New Star was put on for parishioners at St Hilary's Church, in Llanrhos, on Sunday, December 18.
Children from St Hilary's Sunday School did a fantastic job playing the roles of Mary, Joseph, Little Star, an angel and a shepherd. Adult volunteers also got in on the act and played shepherds.
The play was written by leader of the Sunday School Karen Erlandson. It focused on 'Big Star' talking with 'Little Star'; the stars shone out above Mary and Joseph as the couple looked for somewhere to stay in Bethleham before the arrival of Baby Jesus.
The play finished off with a song: It was on a Starry Night.
