AN ORCHESTRAL show celebrating the biggest dance anthems of all time is coming to Colwyn Bay.

Stadiwm CSM is set to provide the perfect backdrop for the incredible live music spectacle when the Ministry of Sound Classical hits the town next summer on July 21 2023.

Ministry of Sound Classical will see dance tracks re-orchestrated and re-imagined by a "breath-taking" 30-piece orchestra, top DJs, vocalists, and a sound and light experience.

Each show features classical remakes of favourite dance anthems, including: The Chemical Brothers, Hey Boy Hey Girl; Dario G, Sunchyme; Faithless, Insomnia; Fatboy Slim, Right Here, Right Now and Moloko, Sing It Back.

Roger Sanchez four-time DJ Awards winner for 'Best House DJ' in 1999, 2002, 2004 and 2007 and has received twelve nominations in total, is described as a house music legend. He won a Grammy Award for his remix of 'Hella Good' by No Doubt in 2003 and is best known for his song 'Another Chance', which was an international hit in 2001.

He won the first International Dance Music Award for Best Podcast in 2007 and has received eight IDMA nominations for Best American DJ.

Judge Jules began playing in 1987, launching the career that has easily notched up hundreds of thousands of miles, millions of spins of the decks and countless gigs in far-flung destinations.

A spokesperson for the event said: "Jules’ DJ sets are the epitome of what DJing is about - passion, amazing tunes and a set of hands capable of the most nimble of mixing. With a list of awards that would make the American Olympic team blush, Jules has earned his place amongst the DJ aristocracy. Rarely out of DJ Mag’s top 15 in the annual Top 100 DJs poll, Jules has won such accolades as - 'Best DJ' (Muzik Awards), No.1 DJ (Mixmag reader’s poll), 'Best International DJ' (Dancestar), and 'Best Radio DJ' at the Smirnoff Dancestars.

Hollie Profit, who grew up in Colwyn Bay, will also perform.

The spokesperson added: "Hollie has graced the stages of some of the biggest dance brands with her infectious smile and silky shirts. Starting with her beginnings in Cream, Creamfields, Kaluki, Cafe Mambo and Gottwood. Then in the past year venturing further away to Rise Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, Ministry of Sound and Pukka Up to name a few.

"The disco diva recently won a residency competition for the Church Leeds, since then has become a resident DJ for Triple Cooked. Going on tour with the disco house student brand means Hollie will often be spotted up and down the country from Glasgow to Brighton and everywhere in between."

The show is being promoted by Orchard Live.
