A MAN from Colwyn Bay was jailed after he was found guilty of assaulting a child.
Matthew Green, 30, was accused of assaulting a boy in Old Colwyn on October 3, occasioning him actual bodily harm.
Green, who had committed previous violence-related offences, was found guilty on October 5.
At Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on November 23, he was sentenced to a year’s imprisonment.
The court also imposed a restraining order prohibiting him from directly or indirectly approaching the boy, and a named relative of the boy, until November 22, 2027.
