IT'S BEGINNING to look a lot like Christmas... at least that is the case at the Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay.
The attraction has revealed a "jam-packed" itinerary of festive fun through the Christmas period including breakfast with the elves and half price entry.
The half price entry is being offered throughout December, from Saturday, December 3 and running right through to Sunday, January 8 2023.
Charlotte Dykes, marketing manager at the Welsh Mountain Zoo, said: “We understand the pressures that Christmas can bring and wanted to add an early festive gift with a full month half price entry offer. We’ve got tonnes of Christmas themed extra special activities as well as a zoo first, Breakfast with the Elves.”
Breakfast with the elves is a magical 45-minute 'meet and greet' with the Christmas Elves, as well as a story time session, gift and festive themed pancakes (full details including prices and availability can be found on the zoo's website).
Little ones will be encouraged to take part in the Elfventure trail. Zoo elf Elfyn has dropped 10 presents around the zoo which need to be found by solving the clues. A
All successful trail finders will be entered into a prize draw.
Christmas crafts, storytelling and a unique animal enrichment workshop for the zoo’s animals, are all free and form part of the ticket entry.
Charlotte added: “We’ve introduced some great new activities in this year Christmas’ itinerary. Breakfast with the Elves will be incredibly magical and we have sprinkled some added Christmas spirit in with various activities and adventure right across the zoo.
“We expect a super packed zoo this year, particularly with the half price entry offer, and would encourage anyone who’s planning a visit to book early.”
