CONWY’s newest music festival is set to get underway next week, with an exciting line-up to fill the eight-day event.
“Winter Sounds” will be filling venues across the county, shining a light on musical talent from Wales and beyond.
The events will be free and reduced cost. with the chance to donate or pay as you feel.
Its line-up includes:

Northern Soul Night; Abergele Golf Club
Candlelight concert featuring Hazel Mary and the Conwy Makaton Choir; St Mary’s Church, Conwy
Saturday, November 26
Juan Martin; St Mary’s Church, Conwy
Sunday, November 27
Sweet Baboo and Clementine March; St Mary’s Church, Conwy
Monday, November 28
The Trials of Cato and Gwilym Bowen-Rhys; St Grwst's Church, Llanrwst
Thursday, December 1
John Power (Cast / The La's); Town Hall, Llandudno
Friday, December 2
The Belgrave House Band – Rumours Reimagined; Town Hall, Llanfairfechan
Sunday, December 4
Mark Morriss (The Bluetones); The Marine, Old Colwyn
Performances are suitable for those aged older than 14s, while people younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Performances are free, but ticketed.

Quayside Buckaneers Playalong - acoustic folk and blues play along - bring your instrument and join in – music sheets and refreshments provided; Council Chambers, Llanfairfechan

Beatbox Workshop - Learn how to make drum beats, rhythm and musical sounds using just your mouth - pairing them with words and lyrics that make people sit up and listen; Conwy Library, Culture Centre
Mike Badger (The La's) performs an intimate set of songs chosen from his various releases (1980 to the present) inside Oriel Colwyn's current Mark McNulty Music Photography Exhibition; Oriel Colwyn, Colwyn Bay (Theatr Colwyn)
