A MAN from Conwy has received a conditional discharge after he was found guilty of assaulting a woman.
Leighton Williams, 25, of Gorsfield Road, was accused of assaulting Ellen Rogers by beating her at Cadnant Park, Conwy on March 27.
He was found guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on October 18, having pleaded not guilty on August 31.
Williams received a 12-month conditional discharge.
The court ordered him to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £310, and a victim surcharge of £22.
This totalled £332, to be paid in monthly instalments of £100 from November 16.
