THERE are plenty of firework displays being held to celebrate Guy Fawkes' night this year.
North Wales Fire and Rescue service are encouraging families to attend organised events. Events that are being organised or supported by the fire service are being held in Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Llanfairfechan, Rhyl.
After two years, Abergele Roundtable Firework Display is also returning to the skies above Pensarn Promenade.
See below for the full 'shebang'!
Llandudno
In line with Llandudno Town Council procedures and following a ‘weather chat’ discussion between the fireworks chairman, Natalie Hughes, the event health and safety officer Dave Phillips, the mayor, and reports from Ignite and Llandudno Pier, Llandudno's Firework Display is all set to go ahead on Thursday, October 27 at 7.30pm.
This year's annual firework display will take place at Llandudno North Shore Beach.
Cllr Angie O’Grady, chair of the Fireworks Sub Committee, said: "We would like to thank Llandudno Pier for again offering to provide all the machinery and manpower needed to ensure the display is able to be ‘fired’ safely from the beach, and Conwy County Borough Council. This major event couldn’t proceed without their support."

Cllr Alan Hunter, mayor of Abergele, said: "By kind permission of Andrew Wood, of Abergele Roundtable, entry will be by donation to support St Kentigern Hospice, my mayor's chosen charity for this year.
"Representatives of the Abergele Branch of fundraisers will be on the road closure barriers on both bridges to the Promenade. Please do give generously to support the wonderful work and care that St Kentigern Hospice do.
"The promenade cafes and kiosks will be open, so please support our local businesses."
Details from Abergele Roundtable are as follows: "Our annual Abergele town bonfire and fireworks display, with Knightly's funfair, will be held at Pensarn promenade on Saturday, November 5 with the following events:
"6.15pm - Toddlers 'quiet display' by the West prom;
"7pm - Lighting the Bonfire;
"7.45pm - the main fireworks display for 15 minutes.
"Knightly's funfair will be open from 5.30pm.
"Disabled parking on the prom will be available until 6pm.
"The prom road will be closed to traffic from 5pm from both bridges until 8.30pm for safety reasons.
"Any vehicles already on the prom will have to remain until the road reopens and then all vehicles must proceed with extreme caution as there will still be many people including excited children on the Promenade.
"The event will go ahead whatever the weather does, come rain wind or shine."
