A MAN from Llandudno has been ordered to pay in excess of £600 after pleading guilty to drink-driving in the town.
Nathan Lewis, 46, of Bodnant Road, was accused of driving a Fiat Diablo vehicle on Gwdyr Road with 101 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath on August 7.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 31.
On September 12, Lewis was banned from driving for 26 months, but this will be reduced by 26 weeks if he completes an obligatory course by March 13, 2024.
Lewis will pay a fine of £400, costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and a £160 victim surcharge.
This totalled £645, which he will pay in monthly, £50 instalments from September 27.
