CONWY County Borough Council is encouraging residents to make use of its services, activities and warm spaces this winter.
Due to the cost-of-living crisis, it is anticipated that many will struggle to pay their bills or keep warm this coming winter.
A spokesperson for Conwy County Borough Council: “Conwy Libraries take pride in continuing to support our communities all year-round, and especially as we approach the winter.
“We are a free, supportive space at the heart of the community where everyone is welcome.
“We provide comfortable and warm spaces to sit and read, chat with friends, work, study or explore and discover a range of other activities, with friendly staff at hand to advise and guide.
“For all ages and needs we have our book collection including titles on saving money, family finances, cooking on a budget, upcycling and more. We have computers that are free to use and a selection of newspapers and magazines to browse.
“There will be plenty going on in our libraries this winter.
“Our staff-led story times, Reading Friends or Shared Reading sessions where you can relax, meet new people and enjoy a free hot drink, access crafts, jigsaws, family board games, reminiscence boxes and more.”
