A POPULAR multi-storey department store in Llandudno has gone on the market, and is set to go to auction on September 20.
Knightsbridge House Boutique, which opened in 2020, is set to be auctioned, with its clothes business to remain on the premises for up to a year.
Developer Rob Lloyd took on the David Roberts Shoes of Distinction site in 2020 and created a two floor department store, with the clothes boutique creating a ‘mini-Harrods’ feel to it.
The premises has been managed by Rob and his wife Maria, who took on the running of the site.
The property is now going for auction with estate agent Allsopp with a guide price of £250,000.

If sold, the boutique’s clothes unit will continue trading as a tenant on the site for up to a year.
The couple, whose development business Knightsbridge House Estates recently acquired the former Mark & Spencer site on Mostyn Street, have plans to turn this into a modern retail premises.
It is unknown whether they intend to relocate the clothes brand to this new site, which is set to be completed by the end of the year.
The department store is on a 125-year leasehold, with 122 years remaining on the lease.
