A MAN from Llandudno has been handed a conditional discharge after he pleaded guilty to theft of a mobile phone in the town.
Paul Arrowsmith, 46, was accused of stealing a phone belonging to Fatima Alyamani at Mostyn Champneys Retail Park on July 20.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 8.

Arrowsmith was given a two-year conditional discharge.
The court also ordered him to pay £500 in compensation and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This totalled £585, which he is to pay as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was also made by the court for deductions from Arrowsmith’s benefits.
