A FIRE next to a substation in Rhos-on-Sea last night (August 15) is being treated by police as suspected arson.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) received a call regarding a “property fire” concerning a “small quantity of rubbish” by the substation, on Church Road at 9pm.
A NWFRS spokesperson said that the fire “may have been deliberate”, and that two appliances attended.
North Wales Police were also informed of the incident and are now investigating.

A North Wales Police spokesperson added: “We received a call at 9.46pm last night from colleagues at NWFRS reporting a suspected deliberate ignition of rubbish next to a substation on Church Road, Rhos-on-Sea.
“The incident is being treated as suspected arson and our investigation is ongoing.
