A MAN has been banned from the roads and fined after he was found guilty of three drug-driving-related offences in Conwy.
Connel Fay, 24, of Chapel Garth, Ackworth, Pontefract, was accused of the following while driving on the A55 in Penmaenmawr in a BMW vehicle on March 24:
• Driving with 126 micrograms per litre of blood of Benzoylecgonine (the main metabolite of cocaine).
• Possession of a quantity of cocaine.
• Possession of a quantity of cannabis.
Fay was found guilty of all three offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 3.

He was disqualified from driving for one year.
In addition, Fay is to pay £500 in fines, as well as £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £34 victim surcharge.
This totalled £619, which he is to pay in monthly instalments of £60.
The court also ordered that the cocaine and cannabis be forfeited and destroyed.
