A COMMUNITY group based in Colwyn Bay is to hold its celebration event this weekend.
“Together for Colwyn Bay” (T4CB) will host “The Big Picnic” on Saturday, August 20 from 10am-4pm on St Paul’s Church grounds.
After a successful event last summer in Erias Park, the decision was made to create a family event in the middle of the town.
Featuring stalls, games, entertainment, storytelling, live bands and lots of fun, “The Big Picnic” will be a celebration of the Colwyn Bay community and a chance for residents to come together.
People of all ages are invited to this free event.

T4CB is a lottery-funded community group, administered by the Wales-wide “Invest Local” scheme.
T4CB supports grassroots community action, with groups of residents, sharing skills and connections to make projects come to life.
So far, the group has worked on consulting the community, improving communication, promoting creativity, engaging young people, finding community spaces, and supporting wellbeing through a number of projects led by residents.
Anyone who lives or works in the Glyn wards of Colwyn Bay is welcome to become a member and help shape the project.
